Mission

Winning Souls for the Heavenly Kindgom of God.

The mission of The Church of God of the Firstborn La Iglesia De Dios Del Primogenito is to win souls for the honor and glory of God. This is done through helping our fellow brothers and sisters materially and spiritually. Being a servant and instrument to make a difference in the lives of those around us is the purpose of the organization regardless of age, race, etc. for we are all the same in the eyes of our heavenly Father.

What We Believe.

The oganization's leadership and direction is soley based on the teaching and examples left by Jesus Christ and fellow believers found written in the word of God. In order to continue being a guide, the organization follows specific beliefs related to a Born-again Experience, Water-Baptism, Sanctification and Holiness, Spirit-Filled Life, Healing, Tithing and Offerings, Communion, The Coming of the Lord, Church Membership and Name of Denomination, Church Ministers, and Prayer.

Staff

Reverend Homer Corpus Sr.

Born on February 10, 1946 in Galiana, Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of 19. He married his beloved late wife Socorro Corpus on December 15, 1971. Together, they had seven children (Homer Jr., Irisbel, Idida, Enoc, Joel, Jochebed and Socorro). Called to the ministry in 1973 in a small town out in West Texas, he began his work as an Evangelist in Vernon, Texas. In keeping his promise to his late wife, Rev. Homero Corpus Sr., settled in Pharr, Texas to raise his seven children in May 1986 and to be near his relatives. In 1992, Rev. Homero moved with his children to Greenville, Texas. Four years later he and his family moved into the DFW area. After seeing all his seven children graduate from high school, he returned full-time to his passion of ministry and helping his fellow man-kind in 1998. Secretary and Outreach Coordinator - Josie Corpus

The Church of God of The Firstborn La Iglesia de Dios Del Primogenito proudly appreciates having Josie Corpus as their church secretary who has been with the church since 2005. Josie is very knowledgable and patient with the administrative duties required so that the organization may continue to help its fellow brethern. In addition, she is the church Outreach Coordinator who facilitates local community outreaches such as Elderly Assistance, Food Outreach, etc. Lastly, Josie assists with the pastorial requirements of the church. She also helps with songs and plays the mandolin on Sundays and Wednesdays. She is a part-time student and lives in Euless, Texas.

Family Care Team - Ruben and Socorro Delgadillo.

The Church of God of the Firstborn La Iglesia de Dios Del Primogentio is excited to have Ruben and Socorro Delgadillo and the Family Care Team. Both Ruben and Socorro are involved in various family, youth, and kids activities. Periodically, The Delgadillo's will host a home gathering for members of the church where music, singing, bible study, and fellowship is held! Ruben and Socorro have been married five years and live in Watagua, Texas. They have a two-year old son named Evan Lucas.

Worship and Praise Ministry - Enoc Corpus.

The Worship and Praise Ministry of The Church of God of The Firstborn La Iglesia de Dios Del Primogenito is lead by Enoc Corpus who has been with the church since 2004. He is a great blessing each time he leads and oversees Worship and Praise on Sundays and Wednesdays. Enoc is greatly into music along with playing lead piano during church services. He is also a certified Parlegal and Texas State Notary. Enoc lives in Euless, Texas.

Music Ministry - Joel Corpus.

The Music Ministry of The Church of God of The Firstborn La Iglesia de Dios Del Primogenito is lead by Joel Corpus who has been with the church since 2005. He leads and oversees the music and musicians on Sundays and Wednesdays. Joel is greatly into music along with playing lead guitar and base backup during church services. He is also currently a part-time student attending a local Texas State University and part of Honor Society. Joel lives in Euless, Texas.
